Design Engineer – Civil & Structural

About the role

We are looking for a Design Engineer specialized in civil and structural engineering to join our Singapore team. You will be responsible for creating, analysing, and finalising structural designs using industry‑standard software while ensuring compliance with all relevant codes and regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Model, analyse and finalise structural designs using structural analysis software.
• Review and approve drawings, specifications, work method statements and risk assessments related to civil and structural works.
• Ensure all works comply with statutory standards, regulations and Codes of Practice.
• Submit shop drawings to client/consultant for approval.
• Coordinate with client, architect, construction team and M&E design team to resolve technical discrepancies.
• Prepare and check calculation reports for submission.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil and Structural Engineering or equivalent.
• PE certification or degree recognised by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore (Associate level).
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• Exposure to geotechnical, concrete, steel, civil works or soil‑structure interaction design.
• Strong knowledge of engineering design software and analytical tools.
• Candidates with less experience may be considered for an Engineer role.
