Designer – Government Platforms & Products

About the role

GovTech is seeking a Designer to lead the creation of government platforms and digital products. You will shape user‑centric experiences for dashboards, integration tools and other public‑sector services, turning insights into impactful designs.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end design of platforms and government products, including dashboards and integration experiences.
• Leverage user research to define problems, set product direction and measure success.
• Establish systems, standards and patterns that ensure clarity and consistency at scale.
• Prototype and model solutions for technically complex products, setting quality benchmarks.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers and policymakers to align user needs with technical and business realities.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing and shipping digital products from insight to impact.
• Portfolio demonstrating simplification of complex enterprise platforms or large‑scale workflow solutions.
• Strong ability to frame problems, conduct research and tell compelling design stories.
• Comfort working at the intersection of design and technology, with fluency in APIs, system integrations and data‑driven interfaces.
• Excellent communication skills to unite stakeholders around a bold design vision.
