Desktop Engineer – End User Computing Support

About the role

The Desktop Engineer will join NCS’s End User Computing team to provide day‑to‑day support for client platforms. You will be responsible for ensuring stable and efficient IT operations, handling incidents, and supporting platform upgrades.

Key responsibilities

• Provide end‑user support for client platforms, managing incidents and service requests.
• Troubleshoot and resolve platform‑related issues with timely temporary or permanent solutions.
• Monitor SLA compliance and deliver regular status updates to stakeholders.
• Document system configurations, maintain asset records, and produce operational reports.
• Participate in platform implementation and upgrade projects, coordinating with vendors as needed.
• Perform local server administration for software distribution and patch management.
• Manage user accounts, including creation, password resets, and deletions.
• Identify service gaps and propose corrective action plans.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in an IT‑related discipline.
• At least 1 year of experience in enterprise desktop support.
• Strong desktop troubleshooting skills and good communication abilities.
• Familiarity with iOS and Android devices.
