DevOps Engineer

About the role

AKKODIS is looking for an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to manage, maintain and optimise enterprise infrastructure and cloud platforms. You will support mission‑critical applications, Linux environments, middleware, and automation initiatives while ensuring reliability, security and high availability.

Key responsibilities

• Administer enterprise middleware platforms such as message queues, API gateways and container platforms.
• Maintain production infrastructure to guarantee high availability, stability and performance.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and perform root‑cause analysis using enterprise monitoring and logging tools.
• Design, deploy and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Perform Linux server administration, including patching, OS hardening and performance tuning.
• Develop automation scripts with Bash, Ansible or similar technologies.
• Manage SSL certificates, security updates and compliance activities.
• Configure and maintain virtualised servers, storage and networking components.
• Support containerised workloads on OpenShift or Kubernetes and handle production deployments, change management and release support.
• Monitor infrastructure health, capacity and resource utilisation, implementing proactive improvements.
• Maintain documentation, operational procedures and disaster‑recovery processes.
• Collaborate with application, development and operations teams for system integration and issue resolution.
• Participate in incident response, problem management and on‑call support as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in cloud infrastructure, Linux administration or DevOps engineering.
