DevOps Engineer

About the role

BIT is seeking a DevOps Engineer to design, build, and operate infrastructure that supports a wide range of digital asset services. You will work closely with development teams to streamline delivery pipelines and embed AI‑assisted practices into daily workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate infrastructure across the full lifecycle for services such as CMDB, OA, monitoring, and alerting.
• Manage and scale Kubernetes clusters, automating node lifecycle and cost optimization using tools like Karpenter.
• Define infrastructure as code and implement GitOps‑based CI/CD to ensure changes are reviewable, repeatable, and auditable.
• Partner with developers to remove friction and integrate AI‑assisted development practices.

Required profile

• Proficiency with Linux and shell scripting.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm).
• Hands‑on experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, Karpenter) and GitOps workflows (GitLab CI, ArgoCD).
• Familiarity with core AWS services (VPC, AMI, EKS, EC2, S3, CloudFront).
• Development experience in Golang or Python, working with MySQL and Redis.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field is preferred.
