DevOps Engineer – Platform Engineering

About the role

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our Platform Engineering team. You will build, automate, deploy, and maintain modern application and infrastructure platforms while collaborating with developers, infrastructure engineers, and security teams.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and support platform services using GitOps methodologies.
• Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for applications and infrastructure.
• Automate operational tasks with scripting and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Monitor platform health, troubleshoot incidents, and conduct root‑cause analysis.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve software delivery processes.
• Manage deployments across development, testing, and production environments.
• Support containerized workloads and orchestration platforms.
• Implement observability solutions for logging, metrics, and tracing.
• Participate in incident response, problem management, and continuous service improvement.
• Ensure platform security, compliance, and configuration standards.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and runbooks.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of software development or engineering experience.
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and version control.
• Proficiency with Git and collaborative workflows.
• Experience with Linux command‑line environments.
• Solid knowledge of CI/CD concepts and automation practices.
• Hands‑on experience with scripting languages such as Bash and Python.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and basic networking (DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, TCP/IP).
• Analytical, troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
