DevSecOps Engineer – 1 Year Contract

About the role

Activate Interactive is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer for a 1‑year contract within its Digital Excellence & Products Division, a GovTech team under the Ministry of Education. You will be responsible for establishing and operating secure, reliable processes that move code from development to production for the upcoming SSOE platform.

Key responsibilities

• Own and continuously improve the end‑to‑end pipeline that delivers code to production, ensuring security, quality, and functional verification are built into the flow.
• Manage common CI/CD tools, pipelines, standards, and automation used by application, observability, platform, data, and infrastructure teams.
• Integrate security, testing, and quality gates directly into the delivery process across all engineering teams.
• Drive responsible use of AI throughout the software development lifecycle, including AI‑assisted code review, testing, security analysis, documentation, and feedback.
• Provide engineering enablement capabilities that allow teams to focus on building their services while relying on a consistent, automated delivery framework.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles and experience delivering secure CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to collaborate with multiple engineering teams and champion best practices for code delivery.
• Experience with integrating automated security and quality checks into build and release processes.
• Interest in leveraging AI tools to enhance development, testing, and security activities.
