Director, AI & Data Strategy – Technical Product Manager & Solution Architect (Responsible AI)

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a senior leader to drive its Responsible AI (RAI) agenda. As the Technical Product Manager and Solution Architect, you will shape the technical direction of RAI tooling and ensure scalable, compliant AI implementations across diverse environments.

Key responsibilities

• Define product roadmaps, technical requirements, and release plans for Responsible AI and data‑science tools.
• Collaborate with global teams to develop, maintain, and enhance RAI tooling.
• Translate data‑science concepts into clear business language for non‑technical stakeholders.
• Monitor outcomes, detect drift, and adjust scope or approach to deliver expected value.
• Engage with government agencies, regulators, and third‑party vendors to design end‑to‑end AI architectures that embed accountability and operational readiness.
• Align engineering, legal, compliance, governance, and operations teams to ensure solutions meet regulatory and operational constraints.

Required profile

• Proven experience in technical product management for AI or data‑science platforms.
• Strong background in solution architecture for cloud, on‑premise, sovereign, or hybrid environments.
• Demonstrated ability to influence cross‑functional stakeholders in ambiguous, regulated contexts.
• Leadership experience at director level, driving AI governance initiatives.
