Director, APJ Partner Core

About the role

Amazon Web Services is looking for a seasoned leader to shape and execute its partner strategy across the Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ) region. Reporting to the Global VP of Partner Core, you will drive programmatic support, accelerate partner capabilities, and ensure consistent delivery of AWS solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a cross‑functional organization of 45+ members across APJ.
• Oversee APN programs, migration & modernization initiatives, strategic collaboration agreements, enablement, and GTM projects.
• Drive business outcomes across 8 established countries and 6 emerging ASEAN markets.
• Accelerate AWS adoption through partner programs, channel revenue, and SCA revenue targets.
• Manage executive engagement with partners via summits, EBCs, and strategic discussions.
• Champion AI adoption and innovation within partner operations.

Required profile

• 15+ years in global sales, business development, and partner management.
• Proven ability to unify dispersed teams into a customer‑centric organization.
• Strong business acumen with financial modeling and pricing expertise.
• Experience leading large, complex, cross‑functional initiatives.
• BA/BS required; Master’s or MBA preferred.
