Director, Business Development, SEA

About the role

The Director, Business Development, SEA will drive profitable and sustainable market‑share growth across Southeast Asia. You will lead the design and execution of cross‑functional strategic initiatives, simplify processes, and champion data‑driven decision making.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the SEA Strategic Business Plan with the GM and senior leadership.
• Evaluate, design and implement new commercial models for SEA markets.
• Oversee the regional portfolio of strategic projects using a systematic project‑management approach.
• Lead high‑stakes "Moonshot" planning and translate visionary ideas into regional execution.
• Drive change management, risk escalation and stakeholder alignment for key initiatives.
• Standardise processes in line with global guidelines and lead organisational transformation.
• Manage the SEA Head Office operating model, governance routines and KPI reporting.
• Leverage data and analytics to identify growth opportunities and act as regional champion for AI initiatives.
• Build team capabilities, foster a high‑performance culture and model adidas values.

Required profile

• Proven experience in senior business‑development or commercial leadership roles within a multinational environment.
• Strong track record of delivering strategic projects and commercial model redesign.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across regional and global teams.
• Ability to simplify complex processes and drive organisational efficiency.
