Director, Cyber Threat Intelligence

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Director of Cyber Threat Intelligence for the Asia Pacific region. You will shape and execute a regional intelligence strategy that safeguards financial institutions, government agencies, payment networks and merchants against emerging cyber threats.

Key responsibilities

• Define regional intelligence collection priorities and ensure high‑quality strategic, operational and tactical outputs.
• Monitor the APAC threat landscape using leading threat intelligence platforms, tracking nation‑state actors, cybercriminals, hacktivists, fraud and identity trends.
• Develop threat‑actor profiles, track adversary TTPs with frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK, and produce intelligence products including assessments, campaign analyses and geopolitical reports.
• Deliver executive‑level briefings and written assessments to senior leaders across finance, payments and government.
• Represent Mastercard in regional and international intelligence‑sharing communities and engage regulators, central banks and law‑enforcement agencies.
• Act as a public voice on APAC cyber risk at conferences, government forums and media engagements.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in cyber threat intelligence or related cybersecurity fields.
• Deep understanding of financial services, payments and digital‑economy ecosystems.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate complex adversarial tactics to executive audiences.
• Experience engaging with government agencies, regulators and law‑enforcement partners.

Required skills

• Proficiency with threat intelligence platforms.
• Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK framework.
• Threat‑actor profiling and adversary TTP analysis.
• Intelligence analysis and production of strategic reports.
