Director, Human Resources

About the role

The Director, Human Resources will lead SBF’s people strategy, shaping how talent is attracted, developed, engaged and retained. This senior, hands‑on role partners with senior management to translate organisational priorities into robust HR policies and operational solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR strategies, policies and programmes aligned with SBF’s goals and employee experience.
• Lead workforce planning, talent acquisition and onboarding to ensure the right capabilities for current and future priorities.
• Oversee compensation, benefits, salary reviews and performance management to balance market competitiveness and internal equity.
• Drive talent development, leadership capability, succession planning and cultural initiatives.
• Manage employee engagement, voice and retention programmes, including survey cycles and action planning.
• Provide HR governance, analytics and operational excellence while coaching a collaborative HR team.

Required profile

• Degree‑qualified with at least 12 years of progressive HR experience, including 5 years in senior leadership across multiple HR disciplines.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore employment legislation, fair employment practices, compensation, benefits and HR governance.
• Proven ability to lead HR projects in policy review, workforce planning, talent acquisition, rewards, learning and engagement.
• Excellent stakeholder management, analytical and data‑driven decision‑making skills.
• Hands‑on, collaborative and resilient, able to balance strategic thinking with operational delivery in a lean team.
