Director – Industry Practice Lead (Insurance Solution)

About the role

Moody's is seeking a senior leader to act as the trusted insurance industry expert for its Asia Pacific clients. The role combines client engagement, solution design, thought leadership and go‑to‑market execution across insurance and reinsurance workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, strengthening existing relationships and generating new business opportunities.
• Lead solution design by aligning Moody's offerings with complex client challenges, managing proposals, proofs of concept and demonstrations.
• Develop and deliver market outreach, thought‑leadership initiatives and internal training on emerging risks, regulatory changes and AI applications.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in insurance, reinsurance or insurance consulting with deep domain expertise.
• Strong knowledge of regional and global insurance regulatory frameworks and emerging market trends.
• Hands‑on experience in property & casualty underwriting, natural catastrophe modeling, solvency, portfolio and climate risk management.
• Demonstrated understanding of generative AI use cases within insurance and ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
