Director, Investments

About the role

The Director, Investments will lead Keppel Fund Management & Investment’s Infrastructure team in sourcing, structuring and executing regional investment opportunities. This senior position is responsible for delivering risk‑adjusted returns across power, energy and broader infrastructure assets.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior management with fundraising initiatives and investor relations.
• Originate, analyse, structure, negotiate and close new deals, including due diligence and legal documentation, in line with the Investment Committee’s strategy.
• Monitor key markets to identify attractive investment opportunities and recommend strategies for long‑term value creation.
• Build and maintain relationships with partners, brokers, service providers and other market participants.
• Develop and implement asset‑management and exit strategies, and produce periodic investor reports.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members and support other specialist groups as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 years of investment experience in fund management, corporate finance or M&A, preferably within power, energy or infrastructure.
• Strong academic background and proven track record of delivering superior risk‑adjusted returns.
• Excellent analytical, commercial and strategic thinking abilities.
• Outstanding stakeholder management and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Willingness to travel frequently across key markets.
