Director – NII and Balance Sheet Management

About the role

This senior position is responsible for delivering analytics and insights that drive strategic and financial decisions for Wealth and Retail Banking, focusing on Net Interest Income (NII) and balance‑sheet performance. The role works closely with the CFO, Wealth and WRB Products, and supports global mortgages and deposits teams.

Key responsibilities

• Provide analytics and insights for strategic and financial decisions on global NII and balance‑sheet items, including forecasting performance and RWA analytics.
• Support the CFO in delivering group finance projects and initiatives related to NII and balance‑sheet management.
• Act as the central coordinator across WRB finance teams, group and country FP&A, for NII and balance‑sheet matters.
• Review business financial performance, identify opportunities, and issue early warnings for deposits and mortgages.
• Own flash, outlook, forecasting and monthly performance reporting for group deposits and mortgages.
• Ensure alignment of corporate planning and forecasting across countries.
• Maintain regular reporting of financial and non‑financial value drivers in collaboration with business and finance teams.
• Uphold the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations.
