Director Strategic Initiatives

About the role

Liquid Group, a Singapore‑based fintech payments services provider, is looking for a Director of Strategic Initiatives to work directly with the CEO. The role combines high‑level strategic thinking with hands‑on execution to drive the company’s most important priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the CEO to shape corporate strategy, set business priorities, and develop annual and multi‑year plans.
• Conduct market, competitive and business analyses to inform strategic decisions.
• Create executive‑level presentations, narratives and materials for leadership, the Board and external stakeholders.
• Lead cross‑functional, high‑impact projects from concept through implementation, ensuring timely delivery and measurable outcomes.
• Coordinate across business units to resolve complex issues and maintain momentum on strategic initiatives.
• Identify operational, commercial or organisational gaps and propose practical solutions.
• Support commercial planning, growth initiatives, performance monitoring and evaluation of investment opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven senior leader with strong commercial acumen and a track record of delivering strategic initiatives.
• Comfortable operating at the intersection of strategy and operations in fast‑moving environments.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, able to influence senior leaders and drive consensus.
• Independent, results‑oriented, and capable of managing multiple high‑visibility projects simultaneously.
