Director, Trust & Security Advocacy – Asia Pacific

About the role

Lenovo’s Chief Security Office is creating a new senior position to lead external security advocacy across the Asia Pacific region. The Director will act as the primary security liaison for high‑stakes conversations with customers, regulators, government stakeholders, and partners, helping to build and sustain trust in Lenovo’s global security posture.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a regional security advocacy strategy that addresses geopolitical risk perceptions, regulatory concerns, and heritage‑based scrutiny.
• Lead engagements with strategic customers, partners, and government bodies to communicate Lenovo’s security posture and address escalations.
• Serve as the senior point of contact for executive‑level security issues and coordinate cross‑functional responses.
• Collaborate with internal security, legal, and product teams to ensure consistent messaging and compliance with regional regulations.
• Represent Lenovo in public forums, industry panels, and policy discussions related to trust and security.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in security advocacy, public policy, or related fields.
• Deep understanding of the Asia Pacific regulatory landscape and geopolitical dynamics.
• Strong credibility with customers, government agencies, and industry partners.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills for high‑visibility engagements.
