Director/Head of Supply Chain

About the role

This senior position leads the Supply Chain function for a Singapore‑based operation, shaping global and regional strategies that drive growth, resilience and customer performance. The role oversees procurement, supplier management and digital transformation while ensuring compliance, sustainability and risk mitigation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the end‑to‑end Supply Chain function to improve resilience, service performance, cost efficiency and scalability.
• Coach and develop a high‑performing team, building succession pipelines and future‑ready capabilities.
• Establish and manage strategic supplier and partner relationships to ensure continuity, quality, competitiveness and compliance.
• Partner with internal stakeholders on new product introductions, margin improvement and working‑capital optimisation.
• Monitor and report key supply‑chain metrics, driving corrective actions as needed.
• Drive digitalisation and continuous‑improvement initiatives across the supply chain.
• Champion sustainable and responsible supply‑chain practices.
• Identify and manage regional and global supply risks, implementing mitigation and business‑continuity plans.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, Business or related field; Master’s degree and professional certifications are a plus.
• 10‑15 years of progressive experience in regional and global sourcing, supplier management and procurement, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven experience managing supply‑chain operations with annual spend in the hundreds of millions of dollars.
• Successful track record of leading supply‑chain transformation, process improvement and cost optimisation.
• Strong commercial acumen, contract negotiation experience and stakeholder engagement across multiple functions and countries.
• Understanding of risk management, business continuity, trade compliance and ESG considerations.

Required skills

• Lean Six Sigma certification and practical application.
