Distribution Risk and Compliance Manager

About the role

Prudential is hiring a Distribution Risk and Compliance Manager who reports to the Head of Risk and Compliance. The role supports the Risk and Compliance team in keeping distribution channels compliant with applicable regulations and managing risks linked to internal and external outsourcing. It works closely with colleagues in the CRO division and across the company to strengthen governance and oversight.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain oversight and collaborate with Group to align with its compliance framework, fit and proprietary standards
• Conduct risk assessments of distribution channels and monitor representative activity to spot market conduct risks
• Review customer complaints and investigations on distribution and market misconduct, identify risks and trends and recommend improvements and corrective actions
• Review third-party product training and marketing materials, and distribution agreements, against standards and regulatory requirements
• Ensure the review and reporting process for BSC matters and regulatory reports are accurate and timely
• Oversee internal and external outsourcing activities and compliance with service agreements
• Advise internal teams and distribution partners on market conduct and distribution ethics
• Report regularly or ad hoc to governance forums and carry out ad-hoc projects as directed

Required profile

• At least 6-8 years of experience in risk and/or compliance roles
• Experience in regulated financial institutions and strong regulatory knowledge
• Experience in compliance and risk processes and in project management
• Experience managing projects with multiple stakeholders
• Degree in any discipline
