Distribution Services Agent

About the role

Expeditors, a Fortune 500 global supply chain and logistics company, is hiring a bilingual Distribution Services Agent in Singapore. The agent supports the supervisor in growing each product and service within the district and collaborating with the network, while performing all customer service activities for the assigned customer's account to achieve 100% customer service satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily customer service activities and operations, including order processing, documentation, shipping coordination, report management, invoicing/billing and filing.
• Handle customer feedback, requests and complaints, escalating or reporting them to the supervisor.
• Dispatch invoices and billing to customers on time.
• Maintain accurate inventory records in the systems.
• Collect data for measuring key performance indicators.
• Keep a current procedures manual covering the processing requirements of each account.
• Keep proper documentation of paperwork for orders and accounts.
• Take on additional tasks as required by the department.

Required profile

• Bilingual, willing to grow, learn and work hard in a fast-paced, professional environment.
• Minimum tertiary education with 2 years of related work experience; knowledge of warehousing and logistics is an advantage.
• Currently residing in Singapore with a valid work pass status.

Required skills

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Proactive, able to work independently and adapt to change.
• Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with customer ERPs such as Oracle or SAP, where applicable.
