Document Control Engineer – Semiconductor Equipment

About the role

The Document Control Engineer will manage engineering and project documentation for semiconductor equipment, ensuring that records are accurate, up‑to‑date and easily accessible. You will work closely with project and engineering teams to support document flow throughout the product lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain engineering and project documents in the document management system, ensuring proper version control.
• Coordinate document submissions, revisions, approvals and track outstanding actions with project and engineering teams.
• Support engineering change control, product specification updates, BOM registration and obsolete part management.
• Update ERP and PLM systems with engineering changes and generate related reports using Excel.
• Ensure document distribution complies with confidentiality and internal control procedures, and advise users on documentation requirements.

Required profile

• Diploma in Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in document control, engineering administration or a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read basic mechanical/electrical drawings, flow charts and bills of materials.

Required skills

• Excel macros/VBA.
• Familiarity with ERP and PLM systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Interpretation of mechanical/electrical drawings, flow charts and BOMs.
