Document Controller - Data Centre

About the role

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Document Controller to support large-scale data centre construction projects. The role manages project documentation, drawings, technical submissions and handover records, ensuring compliance with project and client requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain project documentation, drawings, RFIs, submittals and correspondence, with accurate document numbering, revision control and distribution of approved documents.
• Administer document management systems, especially Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), and track workflows, approvals, submissions and outstanding actions.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, consultants, subcontractors and clients on document requirements.
• Maintain QA/QC records, inspection reports, commissioning documents and handover packages, and compile O&M manuals, as-built drawings, warranties and final turnover documentation.
• Support audits and ensure compliance with document control procedures.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3-5 years of document control experience in construction, MEP, industrial or data centre projects.
• Preferred: experience supporting data centre or mission-critical facility projects, knowledge of MEP documentation and commissioning, and experience handling high volumes of technical documents in fast-paced environments.

Required skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) is essential.
• Advantageous: experience with Aconex, Procore, SharePoint or BIM 360.
• Knowledge of document control processes, revision management, transmittals, RFIs and submittals.
• Familiarity with QA/QC, commissioning and handover documentation.
