Drafter – CAD & BIM Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Drafter to develop detailed construction drawings and layout plans using CAD and BIM tools. The role involves collaborating with engineers to ensure designs meet specification requirements and maintaining accurate drawing records.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed drawings and layout plans using CAD equipment in line with specifications.
• Maintain a monthly master list of drawings for accurate information tracking.
• Review specifications, sketches, and related data to evaluate design factors.
• Produce shop, as‑built, and construction drawings based on engineering calculations and specifications.
• Compute mathematical formulas to design detailed equipment specifications.
• Modify and revise designs to address deficiencies and clarify intent.
• Support design management for rebar concrete, steel structures, and related developments.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of relevant drafting experience.
• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in design management, rebar concrete (RC), and steel structure detailing.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
• Tender experience is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in Civil 3D.
• Experience with BIM tools.
• Competent use of Microsoft Office suite.
