About the role
STR JAPAN is seeking a reliable Driver to support its island‑wide logistics operations in Singapore. The role involves transporting frames, doors and skids to job sites and branch offices while ensuring safety and efficiency.
Key responsibilities
- Load and unload trucks manually and with lift trucks.
- Plan delivery routes and account for deliveries at each site.
- Secure and balance loads on the vehicle.
- Maneuver trucks in and out of job sites and loading docks safely.
- Identify mechanical issues or unsafe conditions on the truck, road or site.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, customer service, other drivers and customers.
Required profile
- Valid driver’s licence appropriate for the vehicle class.
- Ability to work weekends, holidays and night shifts.
- Strong time‑management and organizational skills.
Required skills
- Lift truck operation.
