Early Intervention Specialist

About the role
Busy Bees is seeking an Early Intervention Specialist to join its Kovan centre. You will work with young children who have special needs, delivering tailored instruction and supporting their developmental growth.
Key responsibilities
- Lead a classroom and adapt lessons to meet diverse needs.
- Modify instruction and apply positive reinforcement and behavioural management strategies.
- Plan and write Individualised Education Plans (IEPs) and term progress reports.
- Implement specialised educational techniques during lessons.
- Set clear lesson objectives and communicate them to students.
- Maintain accurate daily student records.
- Employ a variety of instructional practices.
- Meet with parents/guardians to discuss progress and resource needs.
Required profile
- Degree or diploma in Special Education (Early Intervention focus).
- Minimum two years of teaching experience in special education.
- High tolerance and patience when working with children.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
