Electrical Applications Engineer

About the role

Infinity Cube is seeking an Electrical Applications Engineer to support its Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) business across Singapore, Australia, the United Kingdom and other international markets. The role spans the full project lifecycle, from technical sales support and system design to commissioning, quality improvement and product development.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare technical proposals, calculations, single‑line diagrams and documentation for BESS solutions.
• Commission BESS units, conduct Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), and provide troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis.
• Inspect product quality, investigate warranty issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Gather customer feedback, support testing of new features, and contribute to new product development discussions.
• Provide technical support and training to customers and distributors in multiple regions, including remote troubleshooting and on‑site visits.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, Mechatronics or a related discipline.
• 3–8 years of relevant experience, or fresh graduates with strong aptitude and relevant internships.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills; proactive, detail‑oriented and able to work independently or in a team.
• Willingness to travel internationally as required.

Required skills

• Three‑phase electrical systems, electrical drawings and schematics.
• Electrical troubleshooting, commissioning of industrial electrical systems, and understanding of electrical protection and power distribution.
• Microsoft Office.
• PLC or industrial control systems.
• Modbus / CAN communication.
• Battery systems and generator synchronisation.
• Solar PV integration.
• EMS / SCADA systems.
