Electrical Engineer – Fresh Graduates Welcome

About the role

As a member of the Instruments, Control and Electrical (ICE) team at Singapore LNG Corporation, you will support the maintenance and technical reliability of electrical systems at our LNG terminal. The role is ideal for recent graduates eager to apply their electrical engineering knowledge in a safe, high‑performance environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support maintenance activities and reliability improvement for ACMV, motor, CCTV and other electrical equipment.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance procedures and reliability programs for electrical assets.
• Plan and execute minor CAPEX electrical projects following engineering best practices.
• Investigate equipment failures, determine root causes and apply corrective and preventive actions.
• Provide engineering support for major terminal expansion projects and ensure system integration.
• Collaborate with the Licensed Electrical Worker to maintain statutory compliance.
• Participate in the terminal’s emergency response team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Electronic Engineering (or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of high‑ and low‑voltage systems, switchgear, transformers, protection relays, load‑flow and fault‑level analysis, and arc‑flash considerations.
• Familiarity with networking concepts and interfacing of control systems with DCS and PLC.
• Understanding of industry standards such as SS 638, IEC and IEE.
• Knowledge of Python and machine‑learning applications for predictive maintenance is a plus.
