Electrical Site Engineer

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate electrical installation works at the construction site.
• Review electrical drawings, specifications and method statements to ensure compliance.
• Verify that installations meet approved drawings, codes and safety requirements.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants and other engineering teams.
• Inspect and verify electrical works such as cabling, lighting, power systems, distribution boards, earthing, ELV and equipment installation.
• Monitor project progress and ensure work is completed according to schedule.
• Prepare daily and weekly progress reports and maintain site documentation.
• Conduct testing and commissioning of electrical systems.
• Identify site issues, coordinate solutions and resolve technical problems.
• Check delivered materials against approved specifications and raise/close inspection requests, RFIs, NCRs and punch‑list items.
• Ensure proper electrical safety practices and permit‑to‑work procedures are followed.
• Assist with quantity measurements, material take‑off and preparation of as‑built drawings.
• Attend site meetings and provide technical updates to the project team.
