End User Technology Support Specialist

About the role

Join a global investment management firm’s agile technology support unit as a Level II specialist. You will act as the primary bridge between business users and the broader IT ecosystem, delivering hands‑on support across a range of devices and platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve complex issues on Windows 11, VDI/Citrix, macOS, iOS/Android, IP telephony, Zoom and Slack.
• Perform local hardware interventions including PC/laptop provisioning, system deployment and workspace moves/adds/changes.
• Assist with basic network and server‑room maintenance tasks.
• Log, track and manage service requests using enterprise ticketing tools such as ServiceNow.
• Collaborate with global engineering teams and external vendors to escalate and resolve technical bottlenecks.
• Partner with high‑profile business units and front‑office stakeholders to understand requirements, provide technology recommendations and deliver user training.
• Serve as the local technology advocate, aligning regional management with international IT support structures.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in desktop support, end‑user computing or service‑desk environments.
• Deep knowledge of Windows 11, Active Directory, MS Intune, Office 365 and file/folder permissions (DFS, shares).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the confidence to support senior executives.
• Experience supporting front‑office financial services, trading floors or market‑data applications (e.g., Bloomberg, FactSet) is a plus.
• Experience leading minor IT project rollouts or delivering technical training is advantageous.
