Engineer, F10 SPMO

About the role

Micron is hiring an Engineer for its Site Strategic Program Manager Office (SPMO) at Fab 10N/X. As part of the SPMO team, you will manage programs and projects for one or more of the site's categories: Business Plans and Strategic Benchmarking, Site Objectives (Infrastructure, People and others), Technology and Cost Competitiveness, Manufacturing Efficiency and Effectiveness, Sustainable Manufacturing, and support for the Site Director and his leadership team.

Key responsibilities

• Represent Fab 10 on the assigned category, working with the Frontend Operations network
• Share site-centric projects and activities with the SPMO network through aligned platforms and infrastructure
• Implement network activities that add value to the site
• Keep programs and projects on schedule, within budget and scope, and update performance periodically across functional groups
• Plan and schedule timelines, record achievements, and lead and control program changes including scope, plan, business rules, policies and procedures
• Work with project teams to identify risks and evaluate solutions
• Integrate AI-assisted tools into daily work and share AI-enabled improvements
• Advise partners on risk and reward analysis and provide consulting, resources and data on service contracts for benchmark structures

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Science or Finance
• Preferred: experience in Frontend or Backend Operations, Business Analyst, Management or Finance, or Program and Project Management
• Preferred: detailed knowledge of Fab, Facilities, Procurement or Finance
• Preferred: internship or experience in the semiconductor industry, and interest in the semiconductor industry and Micron
• Demonstrated leadership and a track record of impact are highly desirable

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Power BI
• Excellent project and time management, and strong analytical, logical and critical thinking skills
• Able to apply baseline digital fluency and role-appropriate AI literacy to use AI tools responsibly
