Engineer, Global Facilities Central Engineering - BIM

About the role

The Engineer, Global Facilities Central Engineering – BIM will lead the implementation and maintenance of BIM processes for Micron’s facilities projects. You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure BIM standards are applied throughout the project lifecycle, supporting construction, commissioning and facility management.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and enforce BIM Execution Plans in line with Micron standards.
• Maintain model organization, folder structures, and the Common Data Environment (CDE).
• Supervise model quality, conduct health checks, and perform clash detection and resolution.
• Coordinate BIM meetings, assist partners with model setup, and prioritize coordination based on construction plans.
• Support pre‑construction constructability reviews and ensure shop drawings are derived from coordinated 3D models.
• Lead 3D scanning/reality capture initiatives and update models to as‑constructed conditions.
• Provide BIM data for facility management, space planning, and future expansion projects.
• Act as the primary BIM contact for internal and external stakeholders.

• Proven experience managing BIM processes for large‑scale facilities projects.
• Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams and external partners.
