Engineer / Principal Assistant Engineer, Site Investigations

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Engineer / Principal Assistant Engineer to lead site investigation works for critical land transport infrastructure projects. The role combines technical oversight of geotechnical investigations with a strong focus on safety and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all site investigation activities, ensuring compliance with geotechnical and safety standards.
• Facilitate pre‑approval processes, issue work instructions and review technical proposals and project schedules.
• Conduct comprehensive site and laboratory audits and monitor project progress.
• Address safety concerns promptly and review factual reports and contractor claims.
• Perform additional project‑related and administrative duties as required.

Required profile

• Degree or equivalent knowledge in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience managing site investigation or geotechnical works is preferred.
• Familiarity with robotic automation processes and AI tools is an advantage.
• Willingness to complete a medical declaration or further assessment during shortlisting.
