Engineer / Senior Engineer – Bus PDI & Testing

About the role

The role is responsible for overseeing Pre‑Delivery Inspection (PDI) activities for buses, ensuring they meet customer and regulatory standards before hand‑over.

Key responsibilities

• Lead PDI activities for bus fleets and coordinate joint inspections with customers, including the Land Transport Authority.
• Follow up on required rectification works and ensure timely resolution of quality findings.
• Conduct technical discussions with OEMs, applying broad vehicle engineering principles to bus design, testing and commissioning.
• Work independently with vendors and suppliers to resolve quality issues.
• Fulfil contract deliverables to guarantee buses are registered and handed over to customers on schedule.
• Complete necessary checklists for invoicing customers.

Required profile

• Minimum Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in the automotive industry or a related sector.
• Class IV driving licence preferred but not mandatory.

Required skills
