Engineering Manager (Backend QA Automation)

About the role

BROADCHAINS FINTECH is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the design, development, and execution of integration test automation for its backend services. You will own the test framework, drive quality improvements, and mentor a team of QA engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare integration test scenarios for unreleased features and changes.
• Investigate and confirm test scenarios hands‑on.
• Develop scripted Python tests for integration scenarios.
• Identify, prioritize, and fix deficiencies in existing test scripts.
• Maintain the integration test environment and related artifacts.
• Enhance the automation framework for better reporting and scalability.
• Build tooling to run test cases for RESTful APIs efficiently.

Required profile

• 6+ years of backend QA engineering experience.
• Full‑cycle testing expertise: design, automation, scripting, and execution.
• Strong background with UNIX/Linux environments.
• Experience testing APIs, databases, and distributed (non‑monolithic) services.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues deeply, understanding both the "what" and the "why".
