Engineering Project Manager, SAP Finance

About the role

Apple’s Information Systems & Technology (IS&T) organization is looking for an Engineering Project Manager to lead SAP Finance initiatives. You will work across multiple business units and global locations to deliver complex, highly‑customized enterprise solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Define system architecture and collaborate with business and application stakeholders throughout all project phases, including cut‑over and go‑live.
• Review business requirements, perform functional gap analysis, and create detailed project scopes, timelines, and risk‑mitigation plans.
• Design and implement integrated solutions that connect internal systems with external partners using SAP BTP, EDI, XML, APIs, portals, and WebMethods.
• Drive scalable designs while enforcing global security, encryption, compliance, and performance standards.
• Present solution designs to stakeholders, deliver technical specifications, and validate functionality during build.
• Coordinate comprehensive testing across unit, integration, UAT, performance, and regression cycles.
• Monitor project status and provide regular reporting to senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/IT with finance experience, or Accounting/Finance degree (CPA, MBA, etc.).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in S/4 HANA SAP Finance system design, configuration, and full‑life‑cycle implementations.
• Proven experience with Waterfall, Agile, and SCRUM methodologies.
• Strong business acumen and expertise in core S/4 finance modules (e.g., GL).
