Engineering & Quoting Manager

About the role

The Engineering & Quoting Manager will lead the engineering and quotation functions for a manufacturing business in Singapore. Reporting to the Business Unit Director, you will drive KPI performance, ensure technical documentation quality, and support profitability through accurate cost estimates.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with senior management to set and track department KPIs, trends, and objectives.
• Train, develop, and support supervisors, leads, and technicians.
• Create and maintain technical documentation such as drawings, models, NPI, SOP, and OMS.
• Maintain ISO‑documented processes and ensure ERP/MRP data accuracy.
• Lead root‑cause analysis using CAR and OFI processes, and manage ECOs and EOL items.
• Communicate project and RFQ status with internal teams and customers.
• Set standards for cost, labour, pricing, and lead times to deliver consistent quotations.
• Negotiate supplier pricing to improve value and competitiveness.
• Deliver accurate cost estimates to support market competitiveness.
• Conduct performance reviews and other duties as assigned by the Business Unit Director.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong analytical ability with hands‑on experience in data handling and Excel reporting.
• Proven experience using ERP/MRP systems.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, BOMs, and procedural documents.
