English Teacher (A-Level)

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic English Teacher to deliver A-Level lessons aligned with the Cambridge International curriculum. The successful candidate will inspire students, support their academic growth, and contribute to a vibrant learning community.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging A-Level English lessons following the Cambridge syllabus.
• Develop lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessments to enhance student learning.
• Monitor student progress, provide timely feedback, and prepare them for internal and Cambridge A-Level examinations.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and student‑centred classroom environment.
• Offer academic guidance and pastoral support to students.
• Participate in curriculum development, school events, parent meetings, and professional development activities.
• Perform other teaching‑related duties as assigned by the school.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in English or a related discipline; postgraduate teaching qualification is an advantage.
• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in A‑Level, IGCSE, IB, JC, or equivalent international curricula.
• Strong knowledge of the Cambridge A‑Level syllabus and examination requirements.
• Excellent classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Passionate about teaching with the ability to motivate and inspire learners.
• Proficiency in English; bilingual English‑Chinese is preferred.
