English & Writing Teacher (Flexi-Adjunct)

About the role

The Write Connection (TWC) is seeking enthusiastic English & Writing teachers to join our Flexi‑Adjunct team. You will empower primary and secondary students with strong language skills, using our structured in‑house curriculum.

Key responsibilities

• Teach small classes of up to 10 students, delivering engaging English and writing lessons.
• Utilise curriculum‑developed materials and guiding notes to ensure consistent learning outcomes.
• Maintain a safe, positive classroom environment that promotes a growth mindset.
• Mark assignments promptly, track student performance, and provide constructive feedback.
• Communicate regularly with parents about academic progress and personal development.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience teaching English or writing in a school or learning centre.
• A degree from a reputable university, preferably in Law, Arts, Humanities, Social Sciences or Communications.
• Strong academic record in English and General Paper.
• Passion for teaching, willingness to adapt to varied student levels, and commitment to TWC’s ethos.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong work ethic, and ability to manage weekly class workload.
• Availability to teach and mark classes for the full academic year (until December).
