About the role
Mott MacDonald Singapore is seeking an Environmental Consultant to support the delivery of environmental and social impact assessments, climate change analyses, and due‑diligence studies for infrastructure projects across the region. You will work within a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with experts in buildings, energy, water, and transport to help clients secure financing and achieve sustainable outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct environmental and social impact assessments (ESIA) and prepare related reports.
- Develop and review Environmental Management Plans (EMP) and climate change assessments.
- Ensure project compliance with national environmental regulations and international standards such as IFC Performance Standards, ADB Safeguards, and the World Bank ESF.
- Assist in project management tasks, including work‑plan preparation, scheduling, budgeting, and coordination of technical activities.
- Coordinate with clients, investors, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high‑quality consultancy services.
- Support due‑diligence processes for infrastructure financing and investment decisions.
- Participate in site visits, client meetings, and regional travel as required.
Required profile
- Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience conducting ESIA, EMP, and climate change assessments for infrastructure projects.
- Familiarity with international ESG frameworks (IFC PS, ADB Safeguards, World Bank ESF).
- Strong analytical, report‑writing, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a global, multidisciplinary environment.
- Willingness to travel regionally for site visits and client engagements.
