Equipment Technician

About the role

Dyson Singapore is seeking an Equipment Technician to join its Advanced Manufacturing facility in Pioneer. You will support automated production lines, ensuring high availability of equipment and consistent output quality.

Key responsibilities

• Minimise equipment downtime and help the plant meet target output and yield.
• Perform preventive maintenance and provide first‑level troubleshooting for line stoppages.
• Document and report all equipment‑related interruptions.
• Carry out process control checks where required.
• Support production teams during line set‑up and continuous‑improvement projects.
• Maintain workstations to a high 5S housekeeping standard.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in an automated line environment.
• ITC or Diploma in Mechatronic, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Ability to identify coloured wires, signals, indicators or labels safely.
• Flexibility to work shifts and overtime.
• Proactive problem‑solving attitude and collaborative mindset.

Required skills

• Experience with servo motors.
• Familiarity with intelligent PC controllers.
