Executive – Commercial Estimating (Ship Repair)

About the role
The Executive, Commercial (Estimating) plays a pivotal role in the commercial department, handling client enquiries, preparing accurate proposals, and following up on bid status for ship repair, conversion and retrofit projects.
Key responsibilities
- Understand and evaluate vessel repair and docking specifications.
- Prepare and submit timely quotations based on man‑hours, materials and subcontractor costs.
- Liaise with equipment vendors and subcontractors to obtain accurate quotes.
- Attend vessel inspections as required.
- Perform any other ad‑hoc duties assigned.
Required profile
- Minimum 3 years experience in ship repairs or shipyard environment.
- Diploma or engineering degree in Marine, Mechanical, Naval Architecture or Offshore Engineering.
- Meticulous and detail‑oriented.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office.
- Experience with SAP or Salesforce is preferred.
