Executive Director, Data Centre Equity Advisory | APAC

About the role

JLL Asia Pacific Equity Advisory is expanding its team with a Senior Director, Equity Advisory Data Centre professional based in Singapore. The role leads origination and execution of M&A, capital raising and advisory mandates (buy-side and sell-side) for data centre owners, operators, hyperscalers, REITs and infrastructure investors. It works 100% in sync with the regional Capital Markets Data Centre team and the JLL Debt Advisory team, and reports to the APAC Head of Equity Advisory.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise with senior decision-makers of data centre platform stakeholders in Asia to originate trades and assist in IPOs or take-private transactions.
• Lead large-cap data centre deals ($250M+) from mandate through closing, covering structuring, negotiation and coordination of internal and external stakeholders across APAC and international markets.
• Act as the primary point of contact for client and investor communications throughout the transaction lifecycle.
• Oversee investment memoranda, strategic proposals, pitchbooks and other client-facing materials.
• Facilitate and manage cross-functional due diligence (technical, legal, environmental, financial).
• Lead or supervise financial modelling (DCF, SOTP, comparable transactions) for valuation, underwriting and scenario analysis.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of experience in real estate investment banking and/or real estate advisory, focused on capital markets, M&A and digital infrastructure and data centres.
• Background in corporate finance or investment banking strongly preferred.
• Proven track record of large-cap, complex data centre, real estate or M&A transactions with significant international experience, especially in APAC, North America or EMEA.
• Deep understanding of real estate investment structures, development products and transaction mechanics.
• Established network with institutional investors, sovereign wealth funds, private equity firms, REITs and data centre operators across Asia.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, Business or a related field; MBA or advanced degree a plus.

The role is on-site in Singapore.
