Executive Director – Single Family Office

About the role

The Executive Director will lead the creation and long‑term stewardship of a newly established Single Family Office following a major liquidity event. Reporting directly to the founder, this senior financial executive will act as the primary strategic advisor, responsible for protecting, growing, and governing substantial generational capital.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with investment bankers, tax advisors and legal counsel to structure liquidity events and optimize post‑close cash deployment.
• Develop detailed net‑proceeds models, evaluate rollover equity, earn‑outs and deferred compensation, and design liquidity waterfalls.
• Implement a capital preservation strategy and design a segmentation framework for operating liquidity, core investment capital and opportunistic allocations.
• Establish institutional‑grade governance, reporting and control infrastructure for the family office.
• Oversee asset allocation, investment oversight, and disciplined capital commitments across all asset classes.
• Ensure tax efficiency and estate optimization through trusts and other structures.
• Facilitate the founder’s transition from operating executive to capital allocator and steward.
• Build a scalable platform that supports intergenerational wealth continuity.

Required profile

• Senior financial executive with extensive experience in family offices, private equity, or large‑scale wealth management.
• Proven track record in transaction advisory, capital markets, and tax‑aware structuring.
• Strong governance instincts and ability to interact with investment managers, institutional counterparties and senior advisors.
• Judgment as a fiduciary advisor and capability to balance entrepreneurial orientation with institutional discipline.
