About the role
Surbana Jurong is looking for an Executive Engineer (Civil & Structural) to perform analysis and design for projects, and to design, submit and supervise civil and structural engineering works.
Key responsibilities
- Perform analysis and design for the project
- Design, submit and supervise civil and structural engineering works
- Supervise the drafting of drawings related to the design
- Ensure all engineering works comply with relevant statutory standards, regulations and Codes of Practice
- Coordinate with contractors, the project team and design consultants
Required profile
- Civil and Structural Engineering degree recognized by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore
- 2 years of prior experience in civil and structural engineering projects preferred
- Familiarity with authority submission requirements for civil-structural works
Required skills
- Well versed in civil and structural design software for building works such as ETABS, STAAD Pro, SAFE and SAP 2000
- Experience in design and project management using BIM
- Knowledge of statutory codes and requirements for site supervision, quality control procedures and construction administration
