Executive Engineer / Senior Executive Engineer – Bridges (C&S)

About the role

We are looking for an Executive Engineer or Senior Executive Engineer (C&S) to join Surbana Jurong’s bridge engineering team in Singapore. The role involves leading the analysis, design and inspection of various bridge components, working closely with senior engineers and BIM modelers.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse and design bridge elements such as segmental box girders, post‑tensioned beams, precast crossheads, piers and foundations.
• Prepare sketches and collaborate with BIM modelers to produce Revit drawings and models, including general arrangement, concrete outlines and reinforcement details.
• Write technical reports and develop design calculation spreadsheets.
• Lead bridge inspections and guide junior engineers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 3–4 years of experience in structural/bridge engineering.
• Ability to mentor junior staff and basic drafting skills in CAD or Revit (a plus).

Required skills

• Bridge design experience (rail and road).
• Proficiency with analysis software such as SOFiSTiK, MIDAS, RMBridge, StaadPRO or SAP2000.
• Familiarity with design codes (EC2, BS 5400, BS 5950, BS 8110).
• Technical report writing and spreadsheet preparation.
• CAD/Revit drafting (bonus).
