Executive Environment Consultant – EMMP

About the role

The Executive Environment Consultant will lead the development and implementation of Environmental Management and Monitoring Plans (EMMP) for terrestrial projects. You will work closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and deliver high‑quality environmental monitoring and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and update EMMP technical specifications for terrestrial environments.
• Define monitoring indicators, methodologies and reporting frameworks.
• Coordinate and conduct field monitoring activities, including soil, vegetation, wildlife, habitat, water‑quality, air‑quality and noise assessments.
• Verify data collection, perform analysis and prepare performance reports for stakeholders.
• Monitor adherence to environmental permits, standards and legal obligations.
• Analyse results and recommend mitigation measures to minimise impacts.
• Liaise with regulatory agencies, contractors and other stakeholders.
• Develop cost estimates and contribute to engineering budget and schedule planning.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Ecology, Environmental Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in environmental management, monitoring and compliance for terrestrial projects.
• Proven ability to work in interdisciplinary teams and coordinate field activities.
• Strong budgeting and cost‑estimation skills for environmental projects.

Required skills

• Environmental monitoring techniques (soil, water, air, noise, biodiversity).
• Experience with EIA, EMMP and EBS processes.
• Data analysis tools: Excel, GIS, statistical software.
• Field survey and sampling protocols.
• Budgeting and cost estimation for environmental projects.
