About the role

The Executive, Fraud Operations will lead the monitoring and investigation of fraud alerts across all banking segments. Working 24/7, you will collaborate with internal teams, law enforcement and regulatory bodies to detect, prevent and mitigate fraudulent activities affecting the bank’s products and services.

Key responsibilities

  • Monitor, analyse and investigate fraud alerts from internal and scheme‑based tools for card and e‑payment transactions.
  • Conduct transaction verification and customer confirmation calls to validate suspicious activity.
  • Maintain whitelist parameters to reduce false positives while preserving detection effectiveness.
  • Handle customer‑reported unauthorized or suspicious transactions in line with internal procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Respond to urgent requests from the Commercial Affairs Department or enforcement authorities, including out‑of‑hours account freezing.
  • Provide accurate account and transaction information for internal reviews, regulatory inquiries and external investigations.
  • Perform preliminary investigations, gather evidence, document cases and escalate when necessary.
  • Analyse confirmed fraud cases to identify emerging patterns, trends and control gaps, contributing to continuous improvement of fraud prevention measures.

Required profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, IT, Cybersecurity or a related field.
  • Willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving and investigative abilities with high attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, fraud prevention techniques and regulatory compliance (AML, financial crime controls).
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for interaction with internal stakeholders, customers and external authorities.
  • High integrity, responsibility and commitment to safeguarding customer and bank interests.
  • Ability to adapt quickly and perform effectively in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.
