Executive – Outreach & Industry Partnerships

About the role

The School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at NTU seeks an Executive to lead outreach and industry partnership initiatives. This role will enhance graduate employability by creating internship and employment opportunities and fostering strategic collaborations with industry.

Key responsibilities

• Identify target industries, professional associations and potential partner organisations.
• Engage industry partners to secure employment and internship opportunities for students.
• Plan and coordinate seminars, industry visits and related events, managing concept, agenda, speakers, venues and logistics.
• Collaborate with speakers, venues, vendors and internal teams to ensure seamless execution of events.
• Provide backup support for additional organisational events such as workshops and seminars.
• Work with Marketing to promote events via email campaigns, social media and industry networks.
• Maintain accurate contact records, track outreach activities and monitor attendance and engagement metrics.

Required profile

• Diploma in Business, Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Human Resources or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in partnerships or business development, preferably with experience organising industry seminars or corporate visits.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with professional presentation skills.
• Strong project‑management ability to handle multiple events concurrently.
• Proven networking and relationship‑building capabilities.
• Experience in budgeting, vendor management and contract negotiation.
• Willingness to travel for on‑site visits and events as required.
