Executive Quantity Surveyor

About the role

We are looking for an Executive Quantity Surveyor to join our construction team in Singapore. The role involves managing cost estimation, material procurement and contract administration across multiple projects.

Key responsibilities

• Perform quantity take‑offs and prepare accurate cost estimates for materials such as rebars, tiles and other main items.
• Manage material ordering, budget tracking and monitor actual construction costs against contracts.
• Prepare tender submissions, BQ documents and oversee the tendering and contract administration process.
• Source, negotiate and award contracts to vendors, ensuring compliance with Singapore construction regulations.
• Handle measurement, payment applications and variation orders for subcontractors.
• Provide advice on contractual rights and arbitration procedures when disputes arise.
• Ensure projects stay within budget and schedule while maintaining quality standards.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in the construction industry.
• Strong numerical ability and attention to detail.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and work effectively in a 5‑day work week.
