Executive, Resident Relations

About the role

The Office of Campus Housing (OCH) at NTU is seeking an Executive, Resident Relations to oversee student and faculty housing, as well as sports and recreation facilities. This role offers the chance to develop expertise in customer relationship management, facilities and contract administration, and related corporate functions within a vibrant university environment.

Key responsibilities

• Process hostel applications, allocate rooms, manage wait‑lists and handle appeals for on‑campus accommodation.
• Conduct thorough inspections to ensure rooms meet quality standards before student check‑in.
• Accurately bill hall fees and other charges, manage collections and issue refunds where applicable.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external contractors to monitor maintenance and repair activities.
• Engage proactively with residents, address requests, feedback and complaints promptly to meet service level agreements.
• Communicate scheduled maintenance or ad‑hoc repairs to residents in advance.
• Perform routine walkthroughs to assess safety and security, and implement improvements.
• Investigate incidents, prepare reports and recommend appropriate sanctions for rule violations.
• Maintain up‑to‑date records of resident details, occupancy status and availability.

Required profile

• Diploma or higher qualification.
• Minimum three years of experience in residential management, customer service, housing operations or related contract and finance functions.
• Experience in student hostels, staff housing or hospitality services is a plus.
